Valley of the Kings

As discussed on Hello Internet #61 (at about 40 mins)

A few sneaky snaps from a visit to the Valley of the Kings in 2010 - they are a bit ropey on some old phone when no-one was looking!

And a few pics elsewhere in Egypt.

Pointing Inception

This starts with a picture taken at the National Portrait Gallery.

To hear discussion of my "pointing at things selfie thing", check out the Hello Internet podcast.

(Sorry I have not included everyone's Tweets - it got a bit out of hand and I've tried to follow the longest path!)

Himalayan Fly-By

As discussed on Hello Internet Episode 60... Delhi-Kathmandu-Paro and Paro-Delhi.

Everest was clouded out the first time but popped out the second time!

Photos from Japan

Professor Martyn Poliakoff (of Periodic Videos fame) is currently in Japan in his role as Foreign Secretary of the Royal Society.

The Professor can always be counted on to email some unusual photos when he's travelling.

Here he is with our dedicated Japanese fan Nagayasu Nawa, who flew several hundred kilometres to meet The Prof in person.

The Japanese school teacher is well-known to Periodic Videos viewers for the quirky gifts he sends to The Professor, some of which have featured in our videos.

On this occasion the gift was a blue “Happi” coat emblazoned with the Periodic Table, of course.

The Professor also sent me this amusing "no drones" sign!
